The Division of Anesthesiology and Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time BC/BE Interventional Pain Management physician to join an exciting, fast-growing, comprehensive interventional pain practice. This position will initially be 50% pain/50% anesthesia and will eventually transition to 100% pain. The Pain Clinic is located in a spacious (16,000 sq ft) state-of-the-art facility consisting of 4 flouroscopically –equipped procedure rooms supported by 20 exam rooms and 19 recovery rooms. A satellite pain clinic at Geisinger Outpatient Surgery in Wilkes-Barre provides patient care to a wider area. Our courteous health providers consist of 6.5 full-time interventional pain management physicians, 4 physician assistants and excellent ancillary support staff. The Division of Anesthesiology consists of 25 anesthesiologists and 6.5 pain management physicians in Danville and Wilkes-Barre. We care for more than 30,000 surgical patients and more than 8,000 pain patients annually.
