Please join us for an informative webinar on Orofacial Pain. Pain in the head, face, and teeth is one of the most common pain complaints. An overview on how to approach the orofacial pain patient is presented here.

Dr. Marisa Chang Bio

Dr. Marisa Chang graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa with a full academic Trustees Scholarship from the University of Southern California. She continued her education as a Regents Scholar at the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine and graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors. She completed her Neurology residency at UCLA, where she was elected Chief Resident. Dr. Chang went on to pursue a fellowship in Headache, Interventional Pain, and Orofacial Pain at UCLA. She is the first neurologist to ever complete an Orofacial Pain Fellowship with the prestigious UCLA Orofacial Pain Program through the UCLA School of Dentistry.

Dr. Chang is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCLA Department of Neurology and UCLA School of Dentistry. She has received numerous teaching awards and was voted by the UCLA medical students as the best resident teacher in the Department of Neurology. She has lectured extensively on the pathophysiology and treatment of all forms of headache and pain. Dr. Chang is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is on the American Headache Society’s section of Interventional Pain Management.
Despite her numerous academic accolades, Dr. Chang views her greatest accomplishment as the relationship she has with her patients. She draws upon her unique training to provide innovative and personalized care. Dr. Chang truly listens to her patients with a compassionate heart and combines the best of evidence based and state of the art medicine to serve each individual patient.

Dr. Chang specializes in treating patients with: Headaches and MigrainesOrofacial Pain (facial pain)Chronic Pain, other neurological disorders using minimally invasive Interventional Pain Management techniques.
