SUBMISSION IS NOW OPEN!

The Online Abstract Submission (see step-by-step procedures below) for the 12th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP) is now open. The meeting will be held June 26- June 30, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, VA.

To be considered for a presentation at the meeting, abstracts must be submitted and completed by the submission deadline of 5:00pm Central Standard Time (CST) Monday, April 20th, 2010.


Rules for Submission
  • ONLY ASIPP members and/or registered participants are eligible for abstract submission and presentation.
  • Authors will be notified by May 11th if their abstracts have been accepted.
  • Accepted abstracts will be published in the September/October 2010 issue of the Pain Physician journal.
  • The work covered by the abstract must not have been published (manuscript, abstract, or poster) or presented prior to presentation at the ASIPP 12th Annual Meeting.
  • Abstracts should be relevant to the area of interventional pain management (IPM). Suggested topics include, but not limited to:
    • Novel Ideas/New Techniques
    • Interesting Case(s)
    • Controversies
    • Basic Science/clinical IPM studies
  • Submission of an abstract constitutes a commitment by the author(s) to present if accepted.
  • All abstracts must include: contact information (name, email, phone, etc.).
    •



Submittal Procedures

The Amercian Society of Interventional Pain Physicians has a secure, dedicated site to upload your abstracts called ASIPP DocumentShare. Use the following instructions to upload your document.

1. Click here to gain access.

2. Once the screen opens you will be prompted to enter the email address and password. For the email address use: abstracts2010@asipp.org and for the password use: submit



3. The 'Folders' window will appear. Click on 'Abstracts 2010' folder. This will take you to the 'Abstracts 2010' directory. You will see a list of uploaded abstracts. Do not download any abstracts or be subject to disqualification.



4. To upload your abstract, just click on the 'Upload Files' button.

5. Once you click on the 'Upload Files' button, you will receive a new window. Click on 'Choose Files'. A directory from your computer will pop-up. Select the document you want to upload. The name will appear in the 'Files' box. Type any comments and your contact information in the 'Details' box. Then click the 'Upload Files' button.



6. You will automatically return to the 'Abstracts 2009' directory page. Your document will now be included in the list.

7. If your document appears in the list, you have successfully uploaded your abstract. If not, contact Ray Lane.

8. Click on 'Log Out'.
